Manual Donut
depositors
Donut depositors such as the Belshaw type B and Type F are
manually operated (HAND-CRANK ACTION) and Type F (Electric Trigger Activated) to dispense an average of 24 cake
donuts every 1-1/2 minutes.
The unit attaches to the side of a donut fryer and/or wall mounted to dispense
“only” cake donuts and units are compatible with any open well fryer. Type B and Type F donut depositors
offers donut shop owners a low cost, effective, easily attainable solution to produce donuts in volume.
Type B and Type F donut depositors use cutter plungers, inserted into a hopper cylinder to produce the
cake donut.
In addition with multiple Plunger selections available
(Donut cutters) will determine the particular donut made, (Cake donut plunger, donut hole plunger, Stick
plunger for buttermilk bars, Krinkle plunger for French donuts, Old Fashion donut plunger.). The most common
plunger found on Ebay is the cake and donut hole plunger however search for a used french donut plunger,
because they are very expensive when purchased new.
Belshaw Brothers manufacturing has been around for 75 years
and produces the cake donut as we know it today. The belshaw system has advantages over rolling cake donuts as
the batter for cake donuts is thinner and produces a very moist donut and is desirable for large donut
production or wholesale shops. You can produce multi-varieties of donuts, donut holes, all while increasing
your profit margin within the donut shop as hand made and rolled donuts weigh 2-3 ounces more in lieu of 1-1/2
ounce donuts dispensed from the belshaw system.
When considering purchasing a belshaw donut dispensing system. I recommend purchasing a used belshaw system
(Type B or F.) The belshaw type B system is designed to last a lifetime and is original donut dispensing system
manufactured from belshaw brothers. And the reason I recommend (belshaw system type B,) this particular donut
dispensing system is easily obtainable on eBay with all donut cutter heads, under $400-USD and very easy to
use.
BELSHAW: Wall Or Fryer
Mounted?
When considering purchasing a used (Type B or F) Belshaw donut dispensing systems, (recommended) consider if a
wall mount system ismore desirable than a fryer mount.
A wall mounted unit is useful whenthere is not enough space
between fryer and equipment for belshaw housing "arm" to navigate over fryer to dispense the donuts (suchas a
shortening box or donut glazer in the way) and generally when space is tight, a wall mount will meet your
need.
A fryer mounted unit requires an additional 2' sq ft. of
space to navigate the donut depositor
